The Mussner History - Tradition and Innovation

The company can trace its history for more than four generations. For more than 120 years the company Dubis Mussner is specialised in the trade of home textiles and in the production of down-filled duvets.

The very beginning of the company goes back to the end of the 19th century when Johann Mussner founded the home textile shop in the centre of the old town of Meran.

Emil Dubis started in 1938 with the production of down-filled duvets and quilts .

1979 was the inauguration of the new opening of the production building in the periphery of the City and the net of trading partners of retailer of duvets in Northern Italy increased with the years. In those period were also introducted the textile product line for hotels.

In the 1996 the old shop in the centre of Meran was completely restructured and the result is a modern and still traditional department store at three floors with a variety assortment of home textiles.

1998 - Extension of the sales representatives for hoteliers and the beginning of the internet online-shop.
